Hot summers, long dry autumns and stony terrain; the idyllic Wairarapa settlement of Martinborough offers a fertile ground for producing Burgundian style wines. The region enjoys worldwide recognition for its Pinot Noir, an achievement all the more distinguished as the variety is notoriously temperamental. The area is also earning similar recognition for other varieties, most notably Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.

2010 MEANDERING LUNCH A GREAT SUCCESS
