We are now planning for the 2012 Meandering Vineyard Lunch which will be held on Saturday 21 January 2012.

A late morning start to a day spent meandering through the vines of four family owned, award winning boutique vineyards. Meet and chat to the owners and winemakers while savouring the taste of their fine wine accompanied by exquisite food and great entertainment.

Last year was once again a sellout event, with everyone having a fantastic time. The fine food, outstanding wine, animated conversation and enthusiastic dancing ensured all participants had a fabulous day. Already previous year’s guests are enquiring about tickets for 2012. Tickets numbers are restricted to 180 to ensure everyone can enjoy the day in a relaxed manner.

For 2012, Croft’s personal caterers [David and Susan Nichol] are flying solo, and they are excited about their barbequed salmon, spring onion and dill risotto with herb mayonnaise accompanied with a light  summer salad including fennel, tomatoes and cucumber. Sounds delicious.

Tess O’Hara is back by popular demand to provide her vibrant music.

Tickets will go on sale at the end of this month. As before, the participating vineyards are; CONEY, CROFT, JULICHER and TE HERA.
